An article published in this Sunday's NY Times highlights one man's story of how the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) has affected him, his wife, and his family as our country recognizes the 25th anniversary (July 26, 1990 - July 26, 2015) of the passing of this important legislation.
In a wheelchair and married to a woman who is 'neurotypical' (a term given for someone without a disability), the author shares how the ADA has impacted his life and others' perceptions of him. An interesting article with a great perspective.
