In-Class Activity: Design a Technology Innovation of the Future! (w/pics)

In Introduction to Sociology, Jennifer Sullivan, Thames Faculty, asked students to work in a team to design a technology innovation of the future. Students are studying the topic of mass media and were put to the test by designing a product that they thought would become a reality in their lifetime. Then the teams had represent their product visually and present their idea in front of the class.

Students invented many interesting ideas such as:

- A Smart House (completely operated by voice controls)
- Flying Robotic Plate (to bring students food anywhere in their house)
- An App that would allow users to scan their EZPass from their cellphone
-A pedometer that is attached to the sole of your shoe (eliminating bulky watches or devices that can be seen)
- A Flying Car
-A device placed inside a flying car to tell the driver how high they were flying
