Thames Academy students experience an integrated academic curriculum as instructors create intentional assignments that combine course content from multiple disciplines. Students enrolled in Ron Samul's Dystopian Literature course are learning about elements of dystopian societies while reading The Giver. Students are also enrolled in Jennifer Sullivan's sociology course and studying art, creativity and documentary photography.
Students were given as assignment to take photographs representing the ideas of Utopia and Dystopia. They did an amazing job!
