Mitchell College Athletics Celebrates Division III Week!
A special shout-out goes to
Mitchell Athletics for their committed participation in Division III Week,
designed to celebrate student-athletes and their outstanding academics,
athletic, and community involvement. They kicked off the week with the unveiling
of the "We Don't Say" campaign on Monday, 4/4.
Several student-athletes
were featured in a pair of videos (links below) that serve as the foundation of
the campaign, which will also include printed posters for the Yarnall Athletic
Center. On Tuesday a large group of student-athletes were in attendance for a
speaker from MADD. Many of our athletics teams took part in the Big Event on
Wednesday, aiding in the clean-up efforts at Mitchell Beach, Mitchell Woods and
Toby May Park. Four of our spring teams will be in action at home this weekend.
Members of the Mitchell Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be in
attendance to reinforce the theme of 'sportsmanship' while handing out candy to
spectators.
